We’re Raising Funds for Female Herders!
Our goal of $74,600, is aimed at supporting female herders in the remote, last-mile communities of Dolpa, by providing them with solar home lighting systems.
We aim to train 3 more Solar Mamas during a 3-month program in Pokhara- to learn how to assemble, install, and maintain solar equipment in their communities.

Our project is unique in that it will provide solar home lighting systems for 60 households, solar lighting for 60 herder tents, and 60 Fox Lights to deter the snow leopards from attacking the herds.
With access to power, connectivity, and relevant content, even villages typically excluded, due to geographic challenges and monetary constraints, can benefit from these vital resources. Having light from a source that provides clean, renewable energy, will dramatically change the lives of the residents of this village.
