Tseten Dolma Lama

Nepal Project Coordinator

Tseten Lama has a Bachelor of Legislative Law. Tseten was born in Humla and has been involved in community building and women’s issues in Humla, during her university education. She participated in Model UN organized by Retract in Bhaktapur, Nepal, Model United Nations organized by Bali MUN, and client counselling and legal drafting in 2019. As the project coordinator, she is supporting the entire team on all project matters.

 

Ruth Katz

Ruth has an extensive background in marketing communications and editorial services, having been a masthead-listed editor at many top-tier Hearst and Meredith publications; she has authored five books and has written or edited countless consumer information booklets, resource guides, and websites. For more than 20 years, she wrote prolifically for The New York Times’s consumer pages and was the most in-demand service journalist at New York magazine.
She served as the Style and Travel Editor at Promenade magazine for ten years, and currently writes/edits for several upmarket publications. As a strategic consultant to numerous marquee-name public relations firms, she is skilled at crafting and honing streamlined messaging for corporate clients—including MasterCard, Procter & Gamble, and AT&T. As a local on-air personality in New York, she spent several years as the Home Services Expert at MetroMedia. She has volunteered for local animal-rescue organizations and devoted ten years spearheading the effort to get one of New York City’s first dog runs established.

Anvita Singh

Operations

 

Anvita Singh is a seasoned social entrepreneur and development professional. She holds a master’s degree in social work, with an emphasis on digital marketing and media. She spent five years, most recently as director of social projects, for the Indian Women Blog. Among the keystone IWB assignments that Anvita spearheaded is its highly effective and successful Back to School educational project. She also worked at the Indian Women Impact organization, and during her tenure there, she oversaw the curriculum development of computer literacy courses, skill development training programs, and rights advocacy workshops for women. She is a creative and strategic thinker and planner and is contributing her prodigious skills to our expansion of international partnerships and grant writing.
