Ernie has more than 40 years of diverse financial experience including CFO of five publicly held companies in the technology and energy fields.  He is also chair and founder of Green States Energy Inc one of the leading independent U.S. suppliers of solar energy with more than 50 solar farms in North Carolina and New Mexico.  He is author of Soul Currency, a book whose premise is that our inner “God given” qualities can be invested as a form of currency for outer success. The book has been translated into more than half a dozen languages.  He is the founder of Soul Currency Institute, Inc., a spiritual not for project organization and is the fiscal agent for Women Light The World.

Chhewang N. Lama

Chhewang originated from the remote Nyinba Valley in Humla where the people are of Tibetan origin. He had the opportunity to continue his studies in Katmandu and earned his degree in business.  His passion for the magic of the mountains and his love for its people, and his business acumen, it is no surprise that he founded Responsible Treks, sharing the amazing beauty of the area with others. Rodrigo Paris Rojas

Director for Latin America, Barefoot College

Journalist, political scientist, master's degree in International Relations at Complutense University, and studies in Innovation and Economic Development at Harvard University. He is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society. He was selected as one of the 100 most prominent Colombians by the government of Colombia in 2015. He was also a former diplomat to the UK, in charge of Human Rights. He has been working as Director for Latin America for the NGO of India Barefoot College since 2013. Since 1999 he has lived in six different countries in Europe, Asia and America and his line of work has always been framed by the defense of human rights and minorities, taking advantage of the benefits and challenges generated by the media and new technologies.


Tempa lama

Genyen Tempa Dukte Lama is an ordained Tibetan Bon lama. He is the founder and spiritual director of Olmo Ling Bon Center and Olmo Ling Publications. He is an artist, poet, and the author of Heart Drop of the Loving Mother, Journey into Buddha hood Inexhaustible Miracles and The Intimate Mind.

Tempa Lama was born in the Humla valley of Nepal, into a family of Bon and Nyingma practitioners. His grandfather, Drang Rig, was a village shaman priest.  At age six, Tempa entered Menri monastery in Dolanji, India, where he studied and practiced meditation and Bon philosophy under the close guidance of H.H. the 33rd Menri Trizin, Lungtok Tenpai Nyima Rinpoche, the spiritual head of the Bon tradition, and Chongtul Rinpoche.  Tempa Lama was the first child to leave Humla to receive an education.
